Tidus is a small town with only a few hundred residents, many populated by humans, dwarves from the south and elves from the north. Though it is not uncommon to see many different races traveling through here, many as would be adventurers. The town still has many various merchants and shops catering to adventurers.
The town is still up and coming after its destruction from goblin hordes years ago, it has made a quick recovery. The humans value this point and are reinforced by the dwarves and elves. Tidus is an outward point into the wild, uninhabited lands. The town has been protected by a fortified eastern wall, with two spiralling guard towers on its length. About 300 meters eastwards the remains of an old wall and a guard tower that appears to have been shorn in half can be seen.
Tidus itself is protected mainly by a local militia that has been trained by military men from the capital city of Midgard. However, as of late the forces have been worn thin by attacks from the east.
